Do you need our help?
If you would like to refer a child with cancer to us for support, they need to meet certain criteria.
- The child must be under 18 when they are first referred to us.
- The child must live in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin or Mid Wales.
- The child must receive care or treatment, or some of their care and treatment, at The Princess Royal Hospital in Telford.
- The child must have had a diagnosis of a form of childhood cancer.
We receive most of our referrals from the team at Telford Hospital, who are able to make sure that the referral happens at the right time for individual children and their families.
When we receive a referral directly from a family or friend of the family, we may ask the staff at Telford to confirm that they are a patient of the paedeatric oncology team there.
